sharpening lens/filters? not sure. But i think only viewing for web need sharpening, on print might just look sharp.

Guess you didn't rotate your polarizer to get rid of the reflection on the water or was it too dirty? IMO it could have been better if there's an subject(duck/swan? lol) for the first pic...

Most photos need USM to sharpen for viewing on web/pc. Try it yourself and see the difference. Correct me if i'm wrong.

i had a similiar experience too at another place... offer you cheap price then try to chop you at other accessories :angry: They should really change their way of business sales, considering that they lose one potential customer to earn a few bucks more...

i guess its vitacon 0.5x?
