I somehow felt if there aren't so many building lights faraway, and worst, from your this angle, they seems "sitting" on the jetty itself? With only the sky, the jetty, the jetty lights, the reflection, maybe the pic itself would be simpler and you will get the "peaceful" feel you wanna get...

and I thought one of the strength of SX1/SX10 series is their superzoom, but yet, SX20's still at 20X, when Nikon has 24X and Olympus has 26X already...kinda disappointed :( though they do include the the ability to shoot 720p videos with an HDMI output, lesser noise... and shouldn't they...
