hey catchlights, i'm not sure also, just testing out. i always thought longer exposure could get better skies and better light streak from cars on the road. however a 13.5second test picture was much better. (i.imgur.com/Jq3RS.jpg)

hey thanks for the help. what is the max length i shld expose it at? i thought if the ISO is low, noise will be less existant? i've seen pics of extremely long exposure and its damn nice hah

Hi, I've recently used my D5000 and was experimenting with a ND400 filter. When the photo came out after about 40mins, it was extremely noisy with color noise all over. Is there something i was doing wrong? 35mm, ISO100, F/22. Here's a pic: i.imgur.com/aXRlT.jpg Thanks all in advance. *edit...
