Is anyone having problem with macro function using third party hood and filter? It wont work and need to turn the camera off and on again. just wondering if we will face the same problem using original Fuji hood and filter?

ive also 2 minds over these lenses n if the choice is 17-55mm, is that a clear winner over my existing tamron 17-50mm? sorry if im hijacking =]

Yeah that should complement the tamron n gives u more range. I ended up bringing all 3 for my past 2 trips in Paris n Korea - tamron for the main walk about - tokina for landscape n architecture - sigma for portraits n night shoots
