I got my lense at MS Color (AMK) at $450. Looks like i got ripped off! Is the B+W filter recommended? Or any brand one is okay? I got a cheap one for $15 also. Will it cause any quality difference?

i am currently using f31fd. but i seems to be dying on me.. Saw many great pics here. but i am thinking of f50/60 is comparable to f31fd? or would f100 be better (less manual controls)? Any comments between the f50 and f100? cheers.
