Yea looks like the scene in "Independence Day" movie.... when the alien attacked Washington city.

It would be very helpfull if you can find a wall/tree to lean on and take a normal position (sit or stand) of your convenience to hold your camera steady and have a decent shutter speed. Otherwise, u should use tripod or monopod. I think monopod would be faster in seting-up time.

It was Steinzeiser SZ-6101 (I don't see any code of the tripod and head, only got the type from the box). Weight abt 2.5 kg, height max with extended center column: 1.42 m. I do not know the load capacity, I use it for my Pentax MZ6 with Tamron 70-300mm.

Recently I bought a tripod and a small ballhead. Brand new, total price: 77SGD.

For out door, Circular Polarizing Filter (CPL) will work at its best if we shot towards north or south direction. CMIIW

Kawan-kawan, saya baru saja beli kaki tiga (tripod) dan kepala bola (ball head) baru, semoga lebih andal daripada tripod saya yang lama. Tripod saya yang lama suka sekali bergoyang, apalagi jika mendengar irama dangdut. :)
