When I shoot in raw + jpeg, and try to import all the pics using lightroom, my lightroom 5.3 only shows the .arw files, not the jpeg. But I can see the jpeg files in my memory card when I use other software. Any settings wrong with my LR?

But seems like bro kei has a different explaination. Maybe I should avoid the creative styles altogether?

Can I ask about shooting in RAW format? If I shoot in raw + jpeg, am I right to presume whatever settings I set in my camera i.e skin softening, higher saturation, only affects my jpeg pictures?

Pardon me for another newbie question. If I were to buy a 2nd hand 3rd party lens to use on my A7, like Minolta 58mm f1.4 for example, what are the things to look out for like what kind of mount etc. Ebay prices seems quite cheap, thought of buying to try out.

I saw a NEX 5 with focus peaking ON during auto focus. Is this possible on A7? Mine is only on during Manual Focus.

F2.8 is not the 'fast' I have in mind and by the way I am already using it. More like 1.4 or 0.95 hehe

A cheap cheam...hehe. I want sharpness with high speed at a not so big size. Of course value for money (not necessary cheap)
