I work at a lab, so I guess I can explain how to do this. Crop image 3.75x5.75...........Canvas to 4x6 with the color of your choice.

I used the cannon 75-300mm connected to the XT body. Total of 3.5Gb worth of images, but many just look exactly the same.

You can use a Gradient Levels adjustment in photoshop to blend that contrast/density. Also UV filters help.

Check ebay for the prices of name brand non AA batteries for the other cameras, I guarentee you come out better that way........AA's dont last long.

For an uncropped 8x10 Just go in photoshop and--- Image--> Image Size Set the largest dimension to 10. Image--> Canvas Size then make the smallest dimension 8. That will give you a white border, but wont crop. Otherwise just do 8x12 like suggested. Oh yeah, did you forget to post...
