I had a similar problem after a few months, with horizontal lines on my frame. Supposedly it was a faulty carrier group and took quite a while to fix as they were waiting for parts. However after it was fixed, they delivered it to my doorstep, so thumbs up to good customer service.

I would like to know too! Bar technical skills of repairman, that would depend if the repair shop has a MP vf lying around, no? Another (cheaper) alternative would be the addtion of a condenser lens in the rf mechanism.
