A few of my friends were actually suggesting to wait till an IT fare to come along... is it true that the camera are VERY much cheaper there? or come with more accessories?

Been shooting with my Olympus C730 for some 1, 2 years now but it recently got stolen (heart pain issue, i know...pocket more pain still...) So currently looking...
My budget would be around 500-600 i guess... will get a dslr eventually... but not yet... cause don't have the monetary powers to maintain one... and get the necessary lenses that would give me the flexibility of a prosumer cam yet...thanks for all the useful advices.

hee.thanks clive. i took a few shots but chose this one cause the rest where i tried to take at a lower shutter speed either had camera shake or the sky was overexposed. any recommendation how to have the best of both worlds i.e. brighter but also rather nice sky
This was taken at the Loyang Dua Pei Gong (dunno how to translate) temple in the evening. It is a temple that overlooks the sea. Great place to take photos.
