I always only used Canon lenses until i tried my friends Tokina AT-X 535 PRO DX AF 50-135mm f/2.8 Lens, for me the focal range was good and it suited me just fine so i now have that and I have also just ordered the Sigma 30mm f1.4 which is yet to arrive. Some third party lenses are cheap and...

I have both and i can't tell any difference, 3rd party are as good as original.

I have had the Tokina 50-135 for a few days now and i love it, i have never owned a Tokina lens before and i am blown away by the build, and the few pics i have managed to take so far , the IQ is great. :thumbsup:

I have Domke F2 as well as Donke J3, love both of them. Crumplers are ok, but i agree the lint from inside does get on your gear.

I would say extra battery , nothing more annoying than waiting for battery to charge before one can take pics.

A book i found usefull was by Michael Freeman called The Photographers Eye. It is a very easy to understand book on composition and design with some really good ideas in it.

I like the Scott Kelby one, I am just starting with PS and find Kelby's explanations very user friendly.

I mostly try do, but you can bet when i haven't got it the photo opportunities will be there in abundance ... :dunno:

I am very pleased with my Giottos MT series.

Puppies bark mainly because they are lonely or bored. In the wild dogs are a pack animal and not designed for being on their own, get him a mate, i find it much easier to rear two puppies together and they are much happier. Also Terriers are an active little dog and become bored very easy...
