had the body with bundled ef-r adaptor and covered 2-3 events using ef lens on the adaptor. so far so good; focusing speed and interface. also worked fine with manual fd-mount lens.

messaged canon to enquire on the adapter and was directed to their e-shop webpage on the camera that comes with sd card and bakerzin voucher. canon's indirect manner of addressing the enquiry.
Looked like usual marketing fine-print aka gimmicks at the bottom of the e-flyer that the free adapter only applicable to those whom the email had been sent to, not for all customers.

The rear leatherish cover of my EM-1 came off. Tried in vain to glue it back, and it eventually dropped off and gone missing.

I used it for a good 3 hours at the recent Club Olympus outing at the Esplanade and didn't notice the warmth. Perhaps it was rested on the tripod most of the time. Thanks for sharing the experience; will conscientiously pay some attention to it.
