Need some help on choosing which ND filter to get. I see that there are 2, 4 and 8. How do we determine which to buy or use?

I used to have this problem. But then realised after waiting like few minutes (after u on the compactdrive) before you start copying, everything is fine. Strange.

If I am reversing a Nikon 50mm (which has thread size 52mm) on a 100-300 tele (58mm), will there be vignetting?

Just wondering if there is anyone out there who has tried reversing a 50mm lens on another 50mm. What will be the working distance like? Is there any adapter (like those in Nikon) that can be used to protect the rear element? Thank you.

I am using the Tamron SP AF24-135mm F/3.5-5.6 AD Aspherical as a walkaround lens. Love the feel of it. Pics turn out sharp and contrasty too. Bought it used for a pretty affordable price (ard $300+)...

So that means, even if I have a EX580, and do not mount it on the hotshoe, i cant remotely trigger it? The ST-E2 is the only solution? Are they any cheaper 3rd party ones? Thanks.

Can anyone help advise how can I trigger the 420EX flash when it's not mounted on the hotshoe? I'm using 350D and don't seem to be able to find this in the manuals. Thanks in advance.
