I acquired a D3 for very cheap, as it will only focus correctly with AF fine tune set a -20. Now, when focusing with manual glass, the object looks completely sharp in the viewfinder, however the picture is unclear when looked at afterwards. I know of the hex screw close to the mirror, however...

Thanks! I never got the backplate of in the first place, however my lifting it a little and re-seating it, the button problem got solved!

So do anyone have a repair guide for the Sony A7? My C3/Delete button is hard to press, and I want to get the back of, to check whether I can fix it or not. I tried following this guide, however they do not describe which screws to remove etc. Regards Jacob

So I bought this 60mm AF Nikkor, however as I use the aperture ring heavily, a grinding noise is starting to bug me. Is it easy to get the ring of and clean it? Does anyone have a repair manual for this lens? Regards

I run around with my D80 with a 35mm 1.8G, so much value for the money. Paid around 30USD for the D80 as it was defective, and fixed it via fatiques guide on here. The lens was bought for 70USD, so around 100USD for a great performing setup. Also have a SB-600 flash if that is needed.

Well, just had the front and back off, and could move the shutter and mirror by manually rotating the little red gearwheel. However as seen by these pictures, it seems like the camera has been in contact with water, however the sensor was completely clean, also the seller says that the camera...

There is no button :S Tried different browsers and my phone, nothing. EDIT: Finally the button came up. EDIT2: Seems fairly simple, I hope I will have sufficient access to the shuttermotor when removing the front and back...

Thanks, so the shutter motor? Also I bought another D80 with an err message, so I might just try to fix that :) EDIT: Seems weird that the motor would be broke, the shutter only has around 7000 click, what about the mirror motor?

Sorry for bumping this thread, however my D80 has just started giving me the Err again. I already did the fix, so I have a hard time believing it can be the same problem again. This time however, I seem to be able to temporarily get the camera to take pictures again, if I press the front button...

Also, why is it that the flash fires a less intense shot when pointed upwards or to the side? It charges much faster, and underexposes the picture completely. This happens when it is on the camera, however if I use it without the camera, it fires full power all the time...

The bend looks worse on the picture, but is it even possible to fix? I can't find any optical cables for the SB600 on eBay :(

So, I replaced the IGBT, but it still fires full power :( Seems like the optical cable is broken, even though it didn't have any major kinks... Cant seem to find any optical cables around :(
