i also experimenting, only know the theory from tutorials. but the black card might not be very useful as the main purpose is to stack multiple fireworks into 1 picture. if the vivocity fireworks is choreographed by pros, most probably the fireworks should be quite complex already, so no need...

mt faber i noe have one spot can see harbourfront properly, but will the fireworks be big enough or not?

Thanks for the reply. I'm talking about the 500D close up lens, http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-500D-Close-Up-Lens-Review.aspx I know they do not offer as good quality as macro lenses, but I guess its somewhere to start with macro photography.
