Can you tell us where to locate fatigue?

Need a more versatile walk about zoom for traveling purpose.. have to lug 5-6 lenses... hope to reduce to 3 when traveling :) Comparing 28-75 sony and sigma 24-70... which in your opinion is better? I will go for 70-200 next... in your opinion which is a good 70-200?

Thanks synapseman! yeah... Good chance i will get the sigma although the 17-50 is a more affordable choice! Waiting for Sony to improve their picture quality for images shot at ISO 1600 or more... Nikon D3S is amazing...
