Is the Nikon flash SB-400 good? I am thinking of getting it for taking better lit photos in indoors as the in-camera flash can only light up a small area. I am using the D7000 btw. Or should I save up and get the bigger (but expensive) ones?

Thanks ppl for your useful advice! So now i have to choose between Nikon 35mm f/1.8 DX and the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 D. One is abt $399 and the other $249, respectively, according to nikon website. The only difference i can see is 15mm and $50... so any suggestions???
