I finally solved the problem, thanks for the advices. it is the problem of internal reflection as pointed out by many here. The shroud is not enough to cover the lens from the internal reflection of the flash, but then there is a rubber band thingy there which i can pull up slightly. that helps...

do u guys mean this inner black circle thing? i shd tape ard this area to make sure that the lens doesnt get the reflection?
