Hi all, Would like to see advise on where is it possible in Singapore to buy a cheaper diffuser for the popup flash? My DIY Skills are pretty bad and usually quite ugly... thanks!

Or are there any attachments to bounce the pop up flash? Think it would be cheaper than a new flash, and look nicer than an aluminium foil... thanks! :)

Hi guys, Still a newbie here in photography Can you guys recommend the flash model and diffuser to buy for the above? Would like to take more indoor shots in low light but the inbuilt camera flash is too glaring.. :)

I turned to Shutter-Auto mode... and rotated the command dial to a high shutter speed.. ie 1/1xxx to take a still of a moving waterfal fountain But it gives the above message.. it only goes away after i set the speed very much lower... ie 1/8 I don't think its the camera faulty... what...

Thanks all you guys for the info, really very helpful as a quick crashcourse! :bigeyes: Went to chk out the prices, apparently a D40x 18-55 non VR kit is around 970, with VR its about $1080. I think I have changed my mind in 1 day to get a D40x instead of D40! :confused: Now the problem...

Understand, so the 18-55mm is the standard one? I read there is one with VR too, worth it to top up for that? :)

Hi, newbie here, after reading so many threads abt D40, D40x and D80, decided to start off with an entry lvl D40 first, mainly for portability as well. Just concerned of 1 thing. When first purchasing, what type of lens should I get with the kit? ie 18-55? Is there a thread or website...
