yes cheap cheap, and it will take the paint off off your lenses too. stay away from gaffer tape. the lenscoat is made from neoprene, same material they make wet suits from so its soft and rubbery. very well constucted. my lenses aren't cheap, very well worth it imo.

I have seen these neoprene covers and they are of a high quailty. There is no comparison between tape and the type of protection these type of covers offer. you get what you pay for. My lenses are very expensive and worth the protection. I don't plan on having theses lenses forever and keeping...

I haven't found the pricing yet on Cathay site but for the money I've spent on my lenses it seems like a no brainer to me between the added protection and the camo.:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :bigeyes:
