Yeap, 600D has exactly the same, with additional 2 features - Movie Digital Zoom + Video Snapshot. Most importantly, it's going to be cheaper than 60D. And this is the main reason why I don't want to get the 60D, yet.

Hm... Not really, as I believe Canon gives better quality in terms of video. Unless you have something else that you think it's better than them? (with the price range of max 3k)

Yeap. Whereas 7D has its alloy body. But that tilt-able screen really rox!

I don't think the Dual Digic will affect the Video mode, but for still photos, yes.

yea I saw the 600D, but the price is not out yet. And I hope to get the video camera before March :-( Also, need more details on the 600D

I would like to "jump" to this thread as I'm also in a position of choosing a DSLR camera for video shooting. I'm in a dilemma of choosing the model between 60D or Nikon D7000. Any advice? Also, Bampoopictures were saying that 60D allows only 480i through its HDMI? Mind to explain...
