Once upon a time.....far far way...........i was on assigment shooting digital still. halfway thru the shoot, to my horror i've notice the photo that came out on the Camera's preview LCD had a magenta cast....this went on for every 2 shots. i've tried everything, rebooting, changing lens, etc...

believe it or not i use entry level Kingston 512MB which cost about RM250 for my most of my assigment. I've use it on D60, 10D, 1D, btw i shoot mostly action sports

From my experince there i found out that there's is no such standard for calibration, i have a diffrent settings for diffrent requirenmt/clients well my rules of thumb is 1.For website/end client/general/frontier machine my setting are Gamma 2.2 whitepoint 6500k then assign color profile...
