Thanks. Managed to get it to work after wiping the contacts. But every time I remount the lens, the same issue will appear even if I wipe the contacts. Gosh.

Hi guys, Decided to get this camera and bought the SEL50F18 as well. I mounted the lens the same manner as how I mount the kit lens. I set the camera to auto. The screen shows F-- and MF and wasn't doing any AF. Do I have configure any settings? TIA.
