Thank you for the help. I've converted the files to mpeg-2 and premiere pro is accepting them. Only thing is the video quality is lower and the sound is a little weird but I can live with that for now. I will post over at the other forum to see if I can get any help.

Thank you both for the advice. I mount the adapter face down, but because I'm new to m42 it always involves a few minutes of fumbling :P. I will try to mount my adapter to my lens since that's the only m42 glass I have at the moment.
