thanks for the insight. have played with the 7D before and the definately the feel is much more appropriate as the current setup seems to make the 450D kinda small. in terms of lens, would it make any sense to drop the 17-55mm and get the 24-70mm? or would it be more appropriate to head for...

there is always never a real need to upgrade. the 450D is a great cam but it does lack the video capabilities.

Have been using the 450D with the 17-55mm f2.8 and am thinking of upgrading the 450D to either 60D or 7D. Which would be a better investment?
