The A1 already has macro mode at 28mm and at 200mm. No need close up adapters. I bought my Hoya slim uv filter for about $20 (I think). I never buy any adapters/cpnverters to screw to my Dimage 7i lens front as I believe the images will be no good and the weight will damage my camera lens...

Hi you can buy the Seagull slr with Minolta md/sr mount. I bought a Seagull DF-2ETM camera body for less than S$120.00 new. It is a fully manual body with a meter showing - (0) + needle in the viewfinder. I bought it from the distributor near Middle Rd but forgot the company's name.
