Ha, thank you :) Apart from the oil spots that affect this camera, it is otherwise a good camera. Wish Nikon was more forthright in acknowledging the issue. :angry:

Let me know if your dust spots return after the change in shutter mechanism. If you ask Nikon staff whether the problem will go away, as usual they remain non commital.

Suggest you bring to Nikon Service Centre. In my case,the spots appeared after 600 shots. When I brought it in on Monday, they volunteered to replace the shutter mechanism. Hopefully, it will solve the problem. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
