fully registered zzz... does nikon hold such workshops/events yearly?

Just got my D7000 kit from the IT show at Suntec today. Not a good deal but I need it for an important trip so can't wait for stock to come to the recommended shops. It's my first DSLR. Was previously using Fujifilm Finepix F11, so it's a huge change. Hope to learn useful stuffs from you guys :)

Any update on Nikon D7000 kit (local set) stock availability?
