Suppose the warranty cover the sensor cleaning.. but last time when I send to SONY STYLE IMM, for hot pixel mapping, they told me I have to pay $60 for sensor cleaning... :confused:

Your 1st picture looks quite nice.. if you can remove the background then maybe better? your exposure value for 1st and 2nd photo seem contradicting.. 3.2" with f/5.6 should be darker than 3" with f/3.5... (U enlarge the aperture for 1.3 stop, but the shutter time decrease for about 1/3...

If u are familiar with Camera, or with camera that have the PSTM function.. go for 40D. Try to hold the 450D and 40D in your hand. If u have big hand, go for 40D, 450D is too small, might not be so confortable if u need to hold it for very long time.

Try use cable release / Timer .. :p

Maybe TS can ask a fren / someone who can take nice pic to try your camera and lens. If it appear sharp, then should be due to handshake or skill. If not then maybe it's the lens.

I think D80 and 450D are not in the same class.. 450D is entry level but D80 /D90 is not.. the price also different a lot. ~1.5x D90 can record video sommore.. If I have the budget.. I will go for D90..
