Before a new model is released, rumours will be floating around, and the price of the old model will be dropping and dropping. So it's still a good time to buy the older model (old doesn't mean no good) at a bargain. Unless one is not informed of the upcoming newer model, then that's another...

Yes, for a colleague ROM. But I'm no pro, no 'proper' equipment (only a prosumer), no formal training received,... Take it as a practice / test-water / experimental exercise. Not even good enough to consider as building porfolio.

I've posted before to a similar question: Get a 2nd hand one from cash convertor or yahoo auction/ebay. Because most probably, such equipment will 'transform' into a cloth / bag hanger (hey, and that's why they ended up in the above places). A $4K cloth / bag hanger!! :bigeyes:
