Hey bro, maybe u might consider getting the D90 with AF-S DX 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR kit lens - portraits excellent range usually is between 50mm to a little over 100mm. Hence, the 18-105mm is just nice falling into this category...and if u could get both D90 with this kit lens for $1.7 =>...
