It does not fire at any mode :( . I'll try to reset the camera in a few minutes and see what happens. I'm trying to avoid a trip down to Nikon. Thanks anyway for your help.

Don't think so. I have it at Auto but it would still not fire. :dunno:

I purchased my D70 sometime back in March. Have been quite happy with the results (because I am still quite new to digital SLR :D ). However, my built-in flash quit on me today. Don't know what happened. I was playing around with the compensation exposure yesterday but did not noticed...

Was at the Exhibition today. Nikon Singapore is selling the D100 at the same price as it was in SITEX ($2988) but the freebies they offered this time is different. To me it of a little better value. In addition to the usual bag, 256MB CF Card, tripod, it also included an interactive book...

So, if I understand this correctly, I 1. will get a picture of what I see in the viewfinder. 2. will not be able to use my zoom lenses the way I was able to on my SLR. My 50mm lens would behave like a 100mm lens (or the other way round???)

So, would I get what I see in the viewfinder or would I see 100% but when I download it, I'd only get part of it? :dunno:
