I agree totally. I've a couple of L lenses and I find myself using them less than the kit lens. Basically cos it has such a good range. Only qualms about it is the 3.5-5.6 aperture range. Otherwise its really a good lens worth its every penny. I hope they come up with a new 18-55mm 2.8L...

a thin line? most likely ur film was scratched. This is unlikely to be manufacturer's fault. It could be somehow the film was scratched against the camera's parts when it's being rolled.

I've been using the Pbook 867 G4 for a couple months now. I love the color on the screen. And u can trust it to be 95% accurate. I think this is the most important factor for us photographers, besides speed and stability of the OS. OSx is great, only thing is i can't seem to get nikon capture...
