I've encountered this quite a few times with diff lenses (kit lens, tamron, sigma) on 300D and 30D. Everytime I just unmount the lens and put it back... seems to have solved the problem Read somewhere in the web that it's caused by the contact between the lens and the body

I went there last month (end of oct). I took a package from a travel agent in guangzhou. Thx for the comments, I intend to go back there again one day :)

yes melbourne has lots of places to take photos.... i only had a UV filter on my lens... i regret not to have taken more photos....
