Hi, could someone help explain what is drum scanning? is it the scanning done by photolabs and how good is the resolution? (ie how big a photo can i print without pixelation?) thanks!

I think colourlab does this too, but is it the same lamination? anyone knows where to do lamination that's totally smooth? (not the stiff kind though)
