thanks for the help...i guess my budget for a body alone is about 500-800....lens is not much of a issue...at the end of the day if i pick up this hobby good, i guess i will start to PIMP MY CAM...right? cheers

oh...and 1 more thing...i think if i look for a "all-rounder" rather than one that is fantastic in certain areas would be a better buy...what do you think??
