For Wenger can go to the local distributor, Sports Unlimited. They have an outlet within Takashimaya Ngee Ann City, 4th floor if I remember correctly. Simple one will cost about $20-30 depending on size.

I'm interested in purchasing the Vivitar UW&S, but am not sure where to get one. The threads in B&S are from quite a long time ago as well, but I'll prefer to be able to buy it from a shop or do a pickup.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but can someone explain the Hz thing? I tried to google it but am just confused by all the technical jargon. Do you mean that since the camcorder is made for 60 Hz, but our lights are at 50 Hz, you'll get the flickering?

I don't have the model you have, but I found some info here. It should use 35mm film(that is commonly found as you said), and uses a CR123A battery. This battery should also be available pretty easily; I've seen it at every place that has a battery rack. :D

Price looks good. Now I'm seriously considering it as a first DSLR. Just have to wait for it to come to S'pore so I can try.
