    Children of the Past

I think this picture has a lot of potential. I like the composition, nothing too dramatic but the image is very meaningful indeed. I too did not like the bokeh. I'd experiment by blurring totally the background of the swing or make everything sharp. I'd emphasize the swing by making it my main...

    Falling....

Show how fast it can travel? Eh... can't see what's traveling in your pic? Can't see the cart carrying the people. Try it again when there's still some light. The cart will be traveling fast and so you'll need a fast shutter. Shooting this at night won't capture anything but those towers unless...

    A mood for Love.

Vivid imagination, I'll give you credit for that! ;) Get in close! Don't be shy! Be a papparazzi! Bring your long zooms. Get the subject then your title will be more apt. ;)

    harsh light - warm light

You're absolutely right. Foolish me! :bsmilie:

    Street life.

You can say that the street, the bike, the architecture and even the graffiti indicate how people live in this place. But then you would really call this street or cityscape photog. If you include "life" viewers tend to look for people automatically.

    harsh light - warm light

I like how the warm light lit the wall. I think this picture has a lot of potential but you need to work on the blown highlight and you probably used a too wide an aperture here that's why the right half is soft, a bit blurred really. I suspect you did this or was auto set by the camera if you...

    Dead Porn Star?

Lighten up, bro. I don't think he meant any offense and none in the pic is offensive and the pic was well done, IMHO. And yes it was a snap. He saw what he saw, had an idea (foolish it may be), snapped it and voila! Was it art? I'd bet that it is. He pretty much conveyed the feeling he felt...

    Dead Porn Star?

Excellent job! PP work is awesome! Know what? It kinda gives me a weird feeling too especially with that missing left toe. You wouldn't make such pictures especially if you're scared of ... Beware... Good job!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

    Only U & Me

Congrats! Same feeling I get. The image projects loneliness, sadness, aging and wilting away... Writing this post already depresses me a bit :bsmilie: I kinda like what our friends did to the picture especially the mono treatment. Would I buy this picture? If I was too joyful, maybe...

    Street life.

I can see why you like this image. The lines and angles, the vanishing point at the center makes the picture and the white arrow as if it directs the eye to look whatever is in the middle. However, the image is not something I'd take a second look. There is nothing really that stands out to...

    Integrated resort

Nah! I love the starlight effect. It actually made the pix more interesting. I think you've done a pretty good job. I can see that the reason you didn't crop it too tightly is because of the natural vignette that the clouds and its shadow make on the water. I'd experiment with cropping the...

    Singapore F1 Practice - Friday

Really nice shots! I also had extreme difficulty and finally got a shot which I like. Here it is: Ok, this is real eh! Ye... ye... I cheated. The car is on display in Parkway Parade and played around with PS to come up with this effect ;)

Do you shoot with your left or right eye?

I'm training myself to use both eyes. I often shoot with my right eye open. Opening the left eye helps prepare you for something happening/coming from the left side, sort of dynamic-AF. Maybe I'll turn out to be like a chameleon with eyes going in different directions. That'll be real cool...
