I like the Sony bodies,(the A6000 is great) but Even with the metabones adapter, the Sony products cannot AF any of the Canon lenses very well… I do not like to carry two complete sets of glass just for a little bit of AF speed afforded by the Sony… of course I prefer to use small...

I like the "M's" because I can mount nearly any glass on the planet on them… in particular, my Leica and voigtlander lenses…try that with your 100D… LOL The M3 is still nice and small and comes with several improvements, including focus peaking and a separate electronic...

So far the pics all look good… I will see if this converter is available here in Bangkok.. Might be a great (and CHEAP) pair up with my EF 200 F2.8L… Hope a 1.4 version will also be forthcoming...:cool:

I got to try an M2 (from a friend here in Bangkok) and I must say we both agree that there is very little new (from the "M") that warrants all the trouble of importing the M2… I still say just get the "M" and be happy… Canon will market a new (FF mirror less) later next year and...

Course if you really want fast AF.. Then just buy an Olympus pen…EP5/EPL5-6/EPM2 etc… They have about the bestAF speed right now… But good luck trying to use EF and EFS lenses in AF on anything other than an M or M2...

HaHa… Go try one! The software a while back pretty much fixed the AF problem… You might be pleasantly surprised…Most of the reviews blew off the camera when it was first introduced for slow AF… but the reviewers never tried it again after the upgrade… Like I said...

I have not seen it yet here in Bangkok… Are you having some auto focus issues with your M1??? Both of mine work just fine even with EF lenses… (did you download the latest software?).:cool:

Lately, I have been using an EF 200mm f2.8 on my "M" for long tele work… I love it… It also serves duty on my Olympus E-pm2 and of course occasionally on a 5D (classic)… The 200 prime is much lighter than a 70-200 zoom, and its AF speed iS "good enough" on the "M" for most...
