ok, now i'm confused. certain jap sites give exorbitant prices but some seem pretty reasonable? kakaku for one, seems quite ok. any feedback on reliability of kakaku's prices? James

icic. i see the logic now. The tamron seems like a good lens to replace the kit lens. so currently, my wishlist should logically contain: Tamron 17-50 Canon 50 mm f/1.8II Canon 55 -250 IS 430EXII flash
