Finally, today, I got my first IS Lens. 70-300mm IS! Feels good man.... nice! No regrets....

I think the "4" in the clock is "dusty". The horizontal shot has the same image of the "4". Rite? I dunno, I'm not a pro, so I guess I couldn't pick up the difference! :)

Well, since I've made up my mind to buy 70mm-300mm lens.... but everywhere is selling the ones with technical faults! Well.... guess have to wait for new batches to arrive then. Otherwise get the fault one, still need to bring to CSC for service.... troublesome....:sweat:

L Lenses lived up to the name man! Cool pics!!! But I'll go for 70-300mm IS still. Value for $. But guess I'll wait till end July for any new "batches" of this lens after problem is corrected. Does anyone know when is 75-300mm was made available? 1995? How about 70-30mm?

REPLACEMENT?!?!?! 1-to-1 replacement for those with warranty? So good?

Anyone who went? Care to post some saliva-drooling pics? Most of us couldn't bear parting with a mere $100, while spending $2000 on a stupid lens without a thought.... Including me! :D

Truthfully........... I really don't see anything wrong with these pics on portriat shooting! The pics are sharp and looks good! Unless the more pro people feels otherwise! So what's going on with the "technical problems"? Wow... all these are nice pics from 70-300mm IS! :thumbsup: :thumbsup...

WAH! It is sharp and NICE!!!! Is your 70-300 the affected lens as canon mentioned (serial number "0" or "1")? If yes, I don't see any problems leh.... Do you have any portriat shots, instead of landscape shots at 300mm? Wanna see if there's REALLY a problem....

U don't have this problem? Hmmm... I wonder if it affects SOME of the "0" and "1" serial lens only. Why did you sell you 70-300 IS, may i ask?
