I took some shots using the Auto mode, and the P mode recently. Same environment. Same settings. Comparing the two, the P mode seems very 'noisy' and the Auto mode is obviously much much sharper. I've checked the resolution, quality, etc everything is the same. Can anyone help?

seems like there's some PS work done at the teeth area. need more fine-tuning, else it looks too sharp and a little fake. just my 2cents
