I think the pricing of G10 is kinda screwing with the 2nd hand market for G9. Grrrrr

The status of the G9 :( Can be turned on but will only take pics in bright light. Anytime it requires flash the unit refuses to fire. Still searching for a bargain second hand G9 to replace and will probably look for 3rd party housing. Sighhhh

Very tempted to. Think I'll stick to the G9 though. Qinnie, earlier in this thread said that she successfully claimed for flooding. Maybe she can share?

Just thought I'd share my stupidity. In the space of the last 1 year I have flooded and killed 2 (yes you read it right TWO) G9s. OEM housing and both times were on the 2nd last dive of liveaboard trips. A review of both incidents leads me to think that greasing your o-rings first...
