Finally made my way down to Fujifilm Studio to buy and purchase the macro extension tube. Realized after trying, the MCEX-11 suits my needs better too. The MCEX-16 requires the lens to be almost right up to the subject.
Anyway I tried my hand at taking these 2 small figurines in my house with...
I use it when shooting flowers and plants at close-up in broad daylight. Without the electronic shutter, tends to be over-exposed but I don't think I use the feature often enough too!
Thank you to everyone who suggested solutions in this thread! My B+W filters arrived too. Initially I thought I would ditch the lens hood that came with the JJC set, but after fitting the filter on, I decided it would be better to use the hood as the filter is not recessed. Works well so far and...

I am intending to use only the filter adaptor when my filters arrive. But the hood looks good too, does not protrude and affect the viewfinder.
So happy! My JJC LH-JX100II lens hood and filter thread just came from eBay! Costs a fraction of the Fujifilm version, and to my surprise, even the lens cap fits!
Hi sure! The one I bought is here, free shipping somemore and arrived quickly despite of the holidays.

They sell a variety of different sizes.
I'm looking for an extra one too. Just realized that the silver hot shoe cover fits and complements the look of the silver X100T. But do you find the hot shoe cover to be a tad loose on the XT-1? I usually put my camera in the bag lens pointing downwards, sometimes I end up sliding the cover out...
