Oh i see... thanks for the good info. So that means i will need to do cropping to reduce the amount of background? Also can i zoom-in on the object using software later to make the object stand-out?

What are the pointers that i will need to take note for capturing a good close-up photos? Do i need a Macro lens?

Hi catchlights, initially my intention was to practise on my focus of the object and the blur background effect. I thought by having a good amount of blur background can bring out the focused object but i guess i'm wrong. Thanks for the comments. i still have alot to learn.
