The lighting seems a bit flat, but temperature seems just right. Have you tried increasing the contrast by a bit?

I believe what aselley suggested was congruent with what the TS did with the apple shot and your ideas. He was merely suggesting a wider angle shot which shows the one of the model's hand covering her breasts, and the other hand holding the apple. Implied nudity, and nothing along the lines...
