I used both a 35 1.4 and a 50 1.4 on my 5D2. Considering you do street, I think the 35 would be a very good choice of lens, and also for landscapes, tho you might want to get even wider for landscapes.

only focusing problem is that it hunts a lot in low light. other than that it works just fine. oh and if you havent got a speedlite attached to it, you might want to turn off the af assist beam firing in the settings. at least from my experience, af did get better when that was off when no flash...
