Hi, I am in the same position as you. I have a cropped body, a Sigma 30mm, a Canon 50mm so now looking at either 85mm or 135mm. I am addicted to bokehs. I am into indoor and outdoor protraits. I believe the bokehs for 135mm is better than for 85mm but for cropped, 85mm would be more practical...

Would the ef 85mm be a better choice? If I use the 135mm would I need a tripod even though it is f/2? Is has to be very dim right? Unfortunately both the 85 and 135 has no IS or I have to go for third party lens with IS. Any good suggestions?
