Is Canon EFs 17-85 available in SG?

It's still listed on the Canon Websitehttp://www.canon.com.sg/personal/products/dslrs/lenses so should be still in production. It's whether the shops want to sell it. With better alternatives, no point looking for it anymore unless light weight is the main consideration.

I like this photo esp the sky... But there might be too much black space at the bottom.

    Canon Powershot S95

That's a problem. Many small shops do not physically put a price tag. So they may shoot whatever price they like at any time. Unlike some places like Best Denki where they place a tag (athough they can sell it cheaper if you bargain). Hence should try to buy from places like Best Denki...

    Drunk Driving

It feels more like a sad person looking out to the right while driving in the rain... The spots of lights trying to console the depressed driver... To fit the title of drunk driving, maybe should have another vehicle coming head on or a front view of the windscreen with lights from a police...

    Road to Nowhere

When I looked at this photo, the railings grabbed my attention. It is simple and focused and does not have any distracting elements. I followed the "flow" of the railings until it disappears into the water. What came to my mind was... what lies beneath?

    Which way up?

Interesting..! But the tree looked underexposed

    Justice!

Continue shooting :) 1) To a tourist, it may look like any old building, so they won't know what relation it has with the title. 2) Framing is too tight. You chop away too much of the building. 3) Underexposed to me I feel it is better to take the photo in the day if you go by the...

    17-85mm f/4-5.6

i'm puzzled. i tot this lens will be forgotten and fade away in the shadow of 15-85. Good 1) Sharp from 24 -35mm onwards. Damn sharp at 85mm 2) Fast autofocus. In fact faster than my other much praised narrower range EF-S zoom lens. Also more photos in focus as compared to the latter 3)...

    The White Rainbow

The feeling is all wrong. It is like putting a wonderful makeup on a model's face and then shooting her photos in black-and-whites, under spooky lightings.

Where do I go from here?

Your effort has paid off . Indeed a sense of vastness. The subject of interest is right in the centre and it really stands out , and the horizon is indeed horizontal (so no need for protractor). Who is the person on the jetty?
