Maybe you can try looking at 550D or 500D (if there is still any on sale). Cause it's just a couple of hundered more then 1000D or D3000 and it will definitely last long cause of the functionality in 1000D or D3000 is very limited although they are "begginer friendly" cameras you can grasp hold...

I think a prosumer camera? since u need such a powerful zoom and wide angle if you use a dslr you need to buy a wide zoom lens which is a further add on but IMO wide zoom causes barrel distortion most prosumer camera dont have barrel distortion since its digitized zoom =/

17-85 and 15-85 only cost 200 dollars difference save abit more for it? get better IQ and slightly larger aperture

erm i wish to ask whether the ISO machine or chip in 500D is the same as 50D or any other higher models cause my friend constantly complain that his 500D is noisy at 800 ISO and should have bought 50D or some higher model which is quite annoying since 500D is the only one within his budget So...

Okay... i need hell lot of CnC cause i posted this in another forum and i dont know why they think the focus of the images is on the HDB Flats.... Also alot of comments stating that it is so dark that they only see clouds...i mean is it really true? HELP!!!!!
